Hi everyone, it's me again with a similar post as to the last one with the Shield nickel. Along with the nickel, I also won these two 1932 D quarters. With that being said, I thought I paid pretty fair prices after comparing them with NGCs pricing and past auctions but after my recent post, I realize some of my judgments may be cloudy ... despite the 2-3 hours of research I put into them. I would also like to mention that these are also my very first 1932 D in my collection but am very open to returning them as I am still in college and money is always a topic! I have attached the pictures below. Thank you ahead of time and thank you all for your help on my past posts *** Moved by Staff to a more appropriate forum. ***

To make my post a little clearer, I was wondering about their values in those conditions. I did my research but I am no expert (not yet :D). I have only just recently dived into key date coinage!

Both look problem free, first one at VG-10 and second squeezing by as a G-04. Value, tough to say what I would pay, because I would have honestly just picked up one higher graded rather than two lower grade. I'd say $70 and $50, based on what I'm seeing.
Always proceed with caution when it comes to key dates, you'll find plenty of counterfeits/fakes.

The first one I'll say is F-12 .The 2nd one AG-03-G-04 . They both hold significant value over the rest of the series .

I'll say VG-10 and G-04, respectively. to the CCF!

Thank you for your responses! I can happily say that my research on these came out to be quite the same as your responses. Specifically to the first response, I paid $72 and $38 - pretty much exact values as you said. I have my eye out for one in fine condition, so I may just return these and get the one in excellent condition. Again, thank you all for your wisdom and information!

Sounds like you paid a fair price. For me, I just have to decide what the intent of my purchases are. Am I looking for an example to fill an album, if so I set a common grade to base it on, depending on what I'm willing to spend, and what type of eye appeal I'm shooting for. If I'm just looking at picking up one example of a coin, I typically shoot for the highest grade I can afford at thet time. Sometimes though, you just stumble on a good deal, regardless of the grade!
I don't typically sell coins, but it is something I keep in mind when purchasing. How easy will a coin sell if I want it to?
There's no right or wrong, just have to decide what and how you want to collect!

I understand and completely agree with that! But sometimes l find an auction that I think is currently at a lower price than others and I am just like: "imma bid for this". Can't help it sometimes! The price is just too good to give up based on the grade, type, etc of the coin (Even though condition is key to the coins I collect)!! I get you though ;D

I'd keep both. Someday in the future you could always get a better one but for now, those are OK. For now that is.
