I read this literature published in late 2019 and wondered if a coin slabbed in April 2020 without the Gold Shield would now still have this new security chip embedded somewhere in the slab.

Could someone comment and direct me to some site addressing this.
Trying to get through to PCGS in a timely fashion either by phone or email can sometimes be a lengthy process...
