Hello guys, I have not been contributing to the community for a while now as many things changed during the Pandemic. I hope you are all doing well during these difficult times.
Here is something I have got my hands on which might be interesting for the collectors of 1780 dated Maria Theresa thalers varieties.
The coin identifies as the catalogued H21 (Hafner 21) variety, but with one significant and unusual difference:
The feathers of the eagle in reverse are here wrongly overlapped as the outer right feather seems to be above the inner right feather and the same appears to be with the two feathers on the left below the mint official´s initials (I.C.-F.A.).
I would call this a H21a variety and would like to know if anybody has seen one of these.
