Hi everyone,

I like to buy one of them and found a guy. Then he sends me pics of that paper but it looks fake. I add the pics in this message and if somebody help me about that is real or fake, it will be great.

Thanks a lot

I have the Germany Ro518 1 Reichsmark and the Germany Ro516 1939 10 Reichspfennig which are from the same series that you have in your photo.

The 2 Reichsmark looks fake to me. Here is why I believe so:
1. The stamp on the back. This was not part of the original note. It was added later so make it look more legit.
2. The signature looks faded. On the original notes the signature is part of the same print as the front black text. It looks faded because the red triangle ink was not dry or affected the black ink print.
3. The paper looks like card stock.
4. The note looks like it has been hand cut. The top margin is uneven. The original notes were machine printed and cut. The hand cut is certainly not because the note has been trimmed. The note looks full size.

There are too many discrepancies I would not buy it.

I agree that it's fake. Genuine notes are not expensive. You should be able to find a reasonably priced genuine not.
