Hi all,

This is obviously not in good condition. Can I get some grading help please?

Thanks!

Probably a once-buried coin. Just a cull with little value anymore, I'm thinking.

Okay--pretty much what I thought. I asked because of the unusual nature of the damage--just trying to learn. I have a lot of very different coins.

Best,

the obverse appears to be heavily corroded and its pretty consistent across the entire face of the coin. the rims are pretty chewed up. this leads me to believe not only was it in circulation for quite a few years to achieve the wear you see on the reverse but may have been dropped and spent the remainder of its life underground. the reverse looks like someone attempted to clean it as you can see long scratches across the coin.

The coin is a goner as far as a collectible piece goes . Show us some of your better condition coins .
