Hi Folks, I have a 1995 Jefferson nickel with gold toning on both sides, and a scalloped edge. On closer inspection, I am seeing small palm tree like leaves on Jefferson's face and on the dome, and on the reverse. I would appreciate any information on this mystery coin. Thank you!

I think the coin has just seen lots of circulation that has left heavy Post Strike Damage. Nothing in the minting process that could cause this. The palm leaves simply look to be star shaped contact marks. Possible repeated vending or slot machine use.
