I ran across this in a box of miscellaneous smalls I'd bought in an auction. I assume it's a tourist keepsake, but I do like to make sure before I just discard it. Report this Post to the Staff

sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21786 Posts	Posted 10/07/2020 09:00 am Appears to be a cast fake, antiqued with black wax rubbing. there appears to be a casting sprue at the bottom of the coin, and evidence of a casting seam on the edge. I agree; need weight and size. Even though it is a fake I would be happy to have it included in a lot with other coins that I may be interested in. Value as a fake? Nominally $1.
