1977 Damaged Washington Quarter? - Coin Community Forum

My seven-year-old daughter and I just started collecting state coins as an educational tool and found ourselves somewhat obsessed with more than just the state and park quarters. So please forgive any lack of knowledge or ignorance. We are curious about the attached quarter that has repeated circular marks over Washington's face. Is it from a bank roller? There also seems to be some doubling along the top edge of the coin. Thanks for any guidance for help you can give us! Report this Post to the Staff
