Perth Mint - Once gold has been refined to a minimum purity of 99.5% , The Perth Mint uses electrolytic refining to improve its purity further. The resulting 'four nines' fine gold is used to make bars ranging from 1/2oz up to 1 kilogram for investor markets worldwide.

The video that goes for 1m:44secs start with a very quick view of the
Super Pit. - This mine is still in operation, and has been so for around 100 years.

Google Images and Google Maps
'super pit Kalgoorlie' should give some idea of it's enormous size, and it's near location to the City of Kalgoorlie.
The 200 tonne ore trucks at the lowest level look like ants, when seen from an observation platform on the edge of this huge excavation.
Gold is mined at a few locations around Western Australia and what comes out of the Super Pit contributes to the Western Australian gold production.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the Western Australian economy is largely been unaffected due to iron production exports to China, India Japan and South Korea, as well as wheat LNG (gas), and gold.
