Hello Everyone! Has anyone seen anything like this? 24mm and it weighs 16.37 gms. and it's probably Lead. No coins from Alexander Jannaeus show both the Cornucopia/Pomegranite and Rayed Star on the same coin, but they're prevalent on different issues.

I wonder if it might be a coin weight to measure out the weight equal to one Tyre Shekel in prutah.

You can also try and contact David, he is good at replying and and very nice person.

echizento: Thanks-I wouldn't doubt that... the coin guy at the IAA was stymied, but it makes perfect sense. There are no letters and only one cornucopia (and it's probably Lead), so we know that it's not a coin-of-the-realm.
