NGC - Coin of the Day: Thomas Edison applied for a patent for his revolutionary light bulb on Oct. 21, 1879. This 2004 Commemorative Silver Dollar celebrates a century and a quarter since that achievement.

I got this coin as a present years ago. Never really sure what to do with it. I guess it is worth just above melt value.
