Hi all, I found what I thought was a good deal on a 1914 S Lincoln Cent. Total cost with shipping was $18.50. I know it's not in great condition, but happy to have a key date in my Lincoln folder in my little starter collection. Opinions on the price for this coin? I'm still getting my chops here so would like some opinions if I'm overpaying or if I found a good/average deal.

John1 - where would you place this on that scale? I'm thinking somewhere between a G6 to VG8?

I'd call it G6, and I'd say you did just fine on the price. I've actually been looking pretty regularly for a 1914-S as well, so I'm following the prices. With everyone sitting at home on ebay during this COVID thing, you aren't going to get it any cheaper than that (I'm just guessing ebay). I think the coin has good eye appeal for the grade.

Not an easy coin to find so be happy with that price.
