Could you help me with this? I think it is somewhere in AU but unsure. The photo side reduction required doesn't really do the luster any justice.

From what I can see, this is a tough call. The reverse looks great, sharp enough to be AU. The obverse is lacking a bit in detail, but I can't tell if this is a case of a worn die, or circulation wear. Somebody more familiar with these types will probably comment with a better answer.

Regardless, it looks like an attractive coin!

Thanks! And, yes I was a bit confused for a minute or two. I really don't know what happened to the front. The hair is really detailed up close, but the rest of the bust is kind of worn. I would assume it was just a weak strike. I would be curious as to what NGC would say but I don't want to spend $30 on this coin.

Still has a decent amount of luster. AU-55 would be my guess from these small photos.
