1869 Assay medal in silver.

I assumed this is PMD/Graffiti, but the strange thing is it's graded AU58. It may just be the case that they don't want to 'details' grade rare stuff as it wouldn't matter anyway, but it got me thinking about what else this may be? I'm sure it would receive a details grade if it was on a seated liberty half or something if it's PMD. That said, the other extant graded example is clearly cleaned and also has AU58?

I'm just gonna say, really poor taste. I have a friend whose arms look like tiger stripes because of how many attempts she made on her own life and how much she hated herself.

I'm no crybaby toddler, and both me and her can make jokes about it. But somethings are just in poor taste

I agree, and apologise. I just am not sure how else to describe it. Cuts would have the same connotations or worse... ?

edit: I've changed it to 'gouge marks' - though it's still not ideal.
