Trade Dollar Prices: Going Nuts - Coin Community Forum

NumisEd Pillar of the Community United States 5177 Posts	Posted 10/27/2020 4:35 pm I am looking at auction prices for Trade dollars and compare them to the Greysheet listed prices, but I have found that those listed in the Greysheet are way too low. In other words, people seem to be bidding Trade dollars into the stratosphere. Is Greysheet completely worthless to get a good price indication for bidding purposes? PNWType Pillar of the Community United States 561 Posts	Posted 10/27/2020 9:20 pm From personal experience I had a lot of trouble even finding any Trade dollars in person from dealers or local shows. There's a lot of trouble with Trade dollars since they're so heavily counterfeited and even genuine ones are often cleaned. When it's hard to get your hands on one in person, it can really drive up auction prices for good examples. That's my Two Cents ;) Report this Post to the Staff
