How Much Would It Be Worth? Sequential 21 Notes $100

CoinWorldCanada New Member Canada 28 Posts	Posted 10/29/2020 8:25 pm If I had notes in this condition but Sequential 21 notes, how much would be they worth, Just curious, and would people pay more for them as a set? How much would the whole set be worth buying, just trying to place a fair value for the whole thing? Should I get them graded? All notes are in this exact condition. Report this Post to the Staff

A BCS graded one similar to yours sold for less than $100 on ebay, none have sold for a higher price in many months. Because the face value of the whole block of notes ids so high, the notaphilic premium per note reduces. You need to find a buyer who needs to invest $2,100, and to take a hit on devaluation that will result from inflation over the long term. Finding such a buyer may be a very hard thing to do. I would guess a total notaphilic premium over the 21 notes to be $100. That works out to be $4.76 per note. Would have been better, if they had been $1 notes. But Canada doesn't print them anymore. Why would "more of something" cost exponentially more? Where did this philosophy come from? (From the printers of Zero Euros perhaps?) Sequential runs are how banknotes are issued & it is completely meaningless if you own these folks! The only minor exception to this rule may occur if the notes are supposed to be rare (or scarce). But I would suggest to exercise extreme caution with this mentality too: since what usually happens is the BV of these newly listed runs of said note softens. Collectors don't get excited over notes they see listed over and over again.
