Doug is very knowledgeable about Southern Gold and a good choice to prepare a reference work on the series. I hope you enjoy reading the book! I believe your edition is Doug's first book on Charlotte gold - published in 1987. He has updated the volume twice (that I'm aware of) - the last time being in 2009. I don't own any of the titles, however, so others will have to chime in regarding potential differences between the three versions. Collecting history one coin or medal at a time! (c) commems.
