Hi,

Does this look like a strike through? Damage? other kind of error?

It is above the ribbon and appears to be below the ribbon, but is not going through the ribbon (or it seems).

Thanks!

I don't know about strike through, but that is an absolutely beautiful coin! Do you have any idea in what environment that coin was kept? That might be the best toning I have ever seen on a copper coin!

Is the area in question incuse or raised? If raised it would not be a strike through.
