My grandpa passed a little over a month ago. The family cleaned out a few things from the home - he lives far, far away. There was a roll of pennies left behind. He has a sizeable collection left behind. I am about to go through it and will let you know what I find. There is a 1962 plain memorial ender as well as a AU-Bu memorial ender that appears copper.

The coins all show minimal evidence of wear. Some are AU, most are XF. I would guess that when my grandpa took a job at the bank in 1969, he bought a roll of pennies to go through and never did. The newest coin is a plain 1969 cent. Almost half of the roll are 1968-1969 cents. There were 3 wheats in the entire roll. I thought there would be a few mor. Here is a breakdown:

-D: 1
 1
 1
 2 (both large dates)
 2
 3
-D: 1
 1
-D: 1
 5
 3
 1
 5
-D: 4
 12
 7
Rest in Peace
