I was just skimming through the '' New Forum Topics '' and noticed some of the subjects are not at least 20 words which it clearly says in Bold letters when we start a new thread . I feel that all members should follow all CCF's rules & regulations .

Is the platform software capable of enforcing the minimum number of characters? Or, perhaps, providing a count of the characters entered in the subject line?

You must be seeing old topics dredged up. The software does enforce it but won't affect ones from before it was implemented.

I thought of asking, but I have noticed recently when starting a new thread the title character counter that used to be there to show how many characters were being used is no longer there.

Edit: it's there now, but doesn't seem to be working. It says "0 so far" even when something is entered.

No, JavaScript is enabled. I just tried again and it works when starting a topic in the US coin forum, but it doesn't work when starting a topic in this forum:
