Hey all,

Would these be Cuds? I didn't see it listed on Cuds-on-Coins, but I haven't found one before and I'm wondering if this would be called a Cud, or if its too minor?
Also it looks like there are two on the coin...

What do you think?

Thanks,

-GB

Yes they are, but more specifically they are rim Cuds. They are the result of the thin edge of the rim gutter breaking/chipping off during the course of producing coins.

It might get listed if you sent it in, but I'm not sure if they are listing rim Cuds anymore.

Cuds on coins only has the CU-1c-1928D-02, meaning there's also a 1928D-01 that they don't have listed, so for sure it's incomplete.

I believe those are rim Cuds, I don't find other examples to be able to say so conclusively though, there's usually more examples if there's one found when it comes to this type of thing.

I've tried to submit other rim Cuds of mine they don't have listed to Cuds on coins on their site and their submission parameters are beyond my capability of conforming to it to complete it...... so I gave up.

Update - my submission went through. Added to the site. I'm high fiving myself for finding a worthy submission and for navigating the photo submission instructions. ;)
