One retailer is still asking for exact change, though no one knows why. My Girlfriend is a branch manager for Chase and she says that they have no problems filling orders. However; back in the SF bay area, I have heard reports that the big banks are still not filling large orders, while the smaller banks and Savings and Loans are having no problems. However, I have noticed that the "exact change" and "credit/debit only" signs are less frequent now.
