if you stick with it I completed that goal in about a year
I searched about 5 boxes and 10 dollars worth about every week
if you are faithful to it, very doable
got a box at home let you all know how it comes along

Finally got through sorting for my S MM's 1 70, 2 71's and my first 74 then the wife brings one home in her pocket change. On a different note had a little over 120 BU 2009 Professional Life coins and on 14 of those there was a Cud on the right cheek of Lincoln this was on the reverse side. Plus on a few of them could barely make out a line from the Cud down through the lapel of jacket across right shoulder very faint and only could be made out on a couple coins. |

I went to the bank yesteray to get a box of cents, and it was all 2010-D (  ), so I didn't get it. Was that a mistake? |

penny man, I would have done the same although there are folks on here that would have been happy. Do what makes you comfortable,after all, you can't save everything.

I would've walked away from too
I got 2010P boxes I think 3 times
it is a real bummer when I get home and see that
speaking of which I got a 2010P box of nickels right now, gonna try and trade or sell them so if anyone is interested they will be on the trade and sell forums!

It can never be wrong to put away a box of what was probably UNC Lincolns, and a branch mint at that, can it? I think I would have tucked it away. I can blow $25 bucks at lunch. And, they will be worth more eventually, I think.

I agree we Jim. Got room? Can't really go wrong at face. Think of it as savings. I've not walk this road so I'm not sure what I'll do. I think it's a matter of how many rolls do you think you need. Get those and move on.

Last night I pulled a BU 1958 D wheat and an average grade Canadian 1933,my oldest Canadian cent yet.

I went through another box yesterday. (no matte proofs this time, unfortunately!  ) Got 10 common date 40's and 50's wheats, all in G-VF condition (typical) 3 Canadians: 1964, 1980, and 2001. This completes my first roll of Canadian cents! I only found 461 copper cents in this box, which is a little below my average of 500-550. Maybe more people are starting to pull these out of circulation? I'd just like to know, for those of you who keep all of your coppers: How many do you average per box? |

Kefiroth, I'm averaging 1000-1200 coppers per $50 bag of pennies.

Kefiroth I don't know I just keep all wheat's 60s and 70s to 1982 and all Canadians I have the 60s and 70s sorted in large tins , I save all errors and wams s and wheat's in 2x2s and books |
