I just found my fourth IHC within the last couple of months. This one is a corroded 1866!!! Surly not many of that year left in circulation.  |

Gothic Florin - Do you have a nearly complete set of Canadian cents? I've been thinking of trying a modern BU set.

Dottir, you had posted that you found a 2010-D so I assumed you knew it was from Denver....but so you know, the pennies from Philly will not have a P (or any mint mark).

Nice results from 2 boxes I ran through last night: 20 common wheats, and 2 uncommon ones: A 1918 and a 1921 (doh! just a year off) both VG-8 and with no corrosion.  3 canadians, including a nice BU 1982. 20% copper altogether. Found a BU 1970-S also. Can't tell the difference between small and large date, so I'll save it. |

Hello.
Just purchased my first two boxes today, wish me luck.
Though as a first time searcher. Can you guys give me some tips on sorting, choosing, organizing, and different processes you all use to do this?

Ended up in getting only one box today. Got a String...my favorite. It coughed up 10 wheats..7 common 40's nd 50's. One 52s...'s' not too common around here. Also, a 1919s with some wear on the mintmark. A 1919 and a 1926. Got me another 10 memorial 's' mints for my collection. And last, 4 more canadian coppers. Copper percentage was right at 27%...about average recently. No other special finds....darn.

I must have done something wrong. I bought two boxxes, I open one. Every single roll is 2010 new pennies( or looks to be)...do I ask for a specific type of penny box? The other one...I open it older pennies. They are not customer wrapped, they are bank wrapped.
Still worth going through?

On your 2010's save a few rolls that are heads/tails, at least or save them all if you are into that. I get the shrinkwrapped bank rolls all the time avg for me has dropped to around 5 wheaties and 5 Sacramento's a box, but
have been getting alot of BU coins.

Try this again got interrupted there, I keep all BU coins and all S's MM's all the wheaties. Look for the 98,99,2000 WAM's plus I also keep all the 2009 and 2010's I get unless they are really bad, going to seperate them all into approximately the same grades and roll them up for the grandkids to have. Keep reading everything you can here and ask questions everyone is incredibly nice and willing to help you out. |

Thanks a lot. I thought i'd keep 10 rolls of the 2010, and just reroll some of my culls.
