well I'm about to go on my first 1000.00 stint of penny searching. exciting. i'll post any good finds. my research from pulling random rolls out and searching them doesn't look too good. you never know though.

Is it worth saving the circulated 1960 small dates? My last box had a few..but not like the one above.

Surely you jest. Finding a 1960P small date in ANY conditions is just as rare (maybe more so) as finding a 1999 WAM. I think you mean the 1960-D small date which are fairly common.

Am way behind at checking my coins closely but here are a few I found a day or two ago from rolls from my bank:

1942 S
1972 S

1952 D a hit on the date
1955 D with a clump of metal between the B and I of LIBERTY
1959 D damaged
1963 D x3
1964 D 2 one rough shape
1966 x2
1972 D
1974

Lots of 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's

2009 Bahamas 1 cent not great shape

Canadians, a few of early Queen Elizabeths, no KG's, lots of 60's to date.

what was the last date of .500 silver ?

about 500.00 or so in and I find:

1905 indian head

about 3-4 rolls of common date wheats

about a roll of canadian copper cents

a 1990 proof
