Nice ones Tim...haven't found a small date in a few years (except for the pesky 60-D) and I always like finding older wheats with mint marks (except 1922)

Nice finds Tim!
Amazing find eaglefoot. I'm always surprized when we find such an old Canadian coin here in the US.

Thanks oldcoach Cuds are my favorite error finds so far. I only found 3 of them over the past few yrs. The one I have in the picture was the best one I found yet. If I ever find a double die then that will probably become my favorite find. Ricardocody: I found a Cud coin identical to the one you found same yr and all lol. I actually threw it on ebay to see if anybody buys it. I kept my other 2 Cud coins.

you'll have to forgive my ignorance, because this is my first penny endeavour, but from what I'm gathering the 1960 small date is pretty common. is that correct?
PS--ricardo that's a heck of a find.
and maine, if you want to look through my culls feel free. I need you to find me an error that'll pay for lawschool.

The 60 small date is not common, but doesn't command a big premium either....the D is common. Are you searching everything or just sorting coppers ?

well I'm sorting the coppers and then pulling any good wheats, indians, steelies, etc. i;m not that into errors but maybe you guys can convert me, heh. it wasn't too long ago that I thought pennies were stupid. now I think they're actually more fun than halves or dimes. new finds: 1 1909 vdb 2 1911 2 1934 1 1927 1 1881 IHC4 steelies

Well, if you're in it for money...some of the errors will make a few bucks...well worth looking for...those are some nice finds you got there. I think I hear the first stages of "penny roll fever"....you may be coming down with a case.
