Cool Lincoln Roll Finds (From Bank Rolls) - Post Yours!

The D-minted cents from 1998-2000 can't be WAM's because if they were, they'd all be WAM's. At least that's what was explained to me elsewhere... the hubs that are used each year are made in Philly now (Hence why the Wide AM's are all Philly)and then shipped out to the branch mints. So unless Denver pulled out an old reverse hub, it would be impossible for them to have any WAM's.

i have not see a WAM with d mint mark yet but we all know there is new finds everyday so you have to have a better look of the coin !

The D is a CAM.

The 70-S's are large dates.

i order boxes of $25 from my bank. do you get the $50 bags from banks too? are there better finds in bags or boxes?

I had my fiancee pick me up $25 in pennies.

Started looking at the ends just to check and found something I really didnt want too. However I guess it could work out to my advantage. $14.50 of the $25 were rolls of 2010 shield cents. Some have circular marks but all look to be VERY uncirculated or even MS. Not sure what to do with them.

If any of you guys would be interested in a roll or two I would consider possibly trading for some wheats. Just let me know.

Like I said if anyone is interested in a roll or two just let me know.

Also i'd like to know what you might consider doing with them if you found these.

2010's? I'd cash 'em in... worthless, numismatically.

So it appears that everyone so far is seeing all my 70 S's as large dates. Thanks a lot for chiming in about them :)

I've yet to closely check yesterdays coins for varieties and such, but meanwhile here are some of my finds from this batch:

About 15 1960's dates & early 1970's. Lots of the rest to date, all to be checked for varieties etc.

Canadian:

1934 - quite corroded obverse and some on reverse but the date is very clear to read! My FIRST 1930's cent ever score in searching. I'm so stoked about this one no matter what condition it's in.

Lots of 1960's from '61 through '69. Some have lots of beautiful original colour and shine (the 61/62/63/64). Most are pretty brown as is the usual condition of these years.

Lots of 1965's, 1985's and 1983's to check for varieties.

Quarters:

US: 1995 D, 1787-1999 D Delaware - with the horse and rider

Canada: 4x 1945-2010 double poppy quarters

guess what? found a silver dime in a roll today!

also, some less exciting news: I went through another 200.00 in the past few days and there was NOTHING of real numismatic value in it. I mean there were like 50 wheats, but that's about it. not even a steelie.
