Willy, I look at the 6, check the difference in the length of the tails. The large date end of tail is even with outside of the loop. Since you have both compare the two closely think you will be able to tell right off the bat.

Oldcoach, thats a good tip, thanks. I was going cross eyed just comparing the 0. I guess the 1960D small date is pretty easy to find as I found a better looking one in my cup of 1960 that I put aside until I figured out what to look for.

Glad I could help Willy. Wild Bill looks like you got a RPM there with that bar running down the inside of the MM.

I've searched 3 USA cent boxes so far (7500 coins) ... slow at this search as I lack knowledge on the series and stare at every coin with my 10x loupe. Find rates for me through 3 boxes ... Found $19.37 face value copper 1982 and earlier .... a copper find rate of 25.83% Found 33 wheaties ... oldest is a 1934 ... a wheatie find rate of 0.44% Found 10 Canadian copper 1996 and earlier. Found one recognized variety ... a 1998 WAM AU-55. I weigh all my 1982 cents ... trying to determine the percentage of total 1982 mintage that was Cu versus Zn. 1982-P ... 169 of 181 copper (88.5%) 1982-D ... 21 of 24 copper (87.5%) Overall 1982 ... 190 of 215 copper (88.4%) I also weigh all my 1983 cents ... no copper yet. Enjoy David

3 boxes and 1 WAM for you; something like 20-30 boxes and still no WAM for me. By the way, congrats on the WAM.
