Most Disgusting Rolls I've Opened...Got them from the Wells Fargo in Safeway here.
2 Rolls were Encrusted with Disgustingness, Some of the coins were So Mangled they were missing chunks...Did find an encrusted Dime, so I guess that works.
One Roll was about 45 1964 p and D...all brown. Then the last Roll was just boring bad conditioned 90's.
It Made me a Sad Panda

At least you found all that copper in one roll, that's a plus, if you collect copper cents

I used to hold onto the Copper, but, eh Too much work. Just keep the nice looking Copper. Was very disapointed with todays...Only kept 1 coin, and it was a random 2009 with the Cabin. Everything else was nasty, One coin there was only 60% of the actual coin left LoL

ok guys. got a box of cents today and went through some withthe fiancee before I left for work. she complains about how she never finds anything good but I'm very sad to say she may have found something more than good and even better than great. once I get some good pics I will post them but we both have looked on Lincoln Cent resource and it seems she has found a 1992 Close AM. We compare it to many different 92's and believe she has the real thing. keep your fingers crossed. pics will be up asap. |

The position of the initials is the best way to check on the WAM and CAM varieties. Unbelievable find if it's true! |

Two boxes plus 25 rolls and a grand total of 6 wheat cents! Copper,18%! What's going on here? Anybody else seeing this trend?

Went threw 12 rolls as usual found cobsecutive 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 wheaties not to bad of a find!

My copper percents are still over 20% usually and with a box I just got yesterday, seemed better than some. Found another 98 WAM, found my first 1955 S wheaty. Are people thinking copper pennies starting to get scarce? Not in parts of the country where the depression/recession is still going strong. Sometimes people hoard change for years, die and the family brings in like 5 buckets of change to the bank. I think we've got plenty of copper cents floating around and many more to come. Even my cousin has a couple of old jars full of pennies, probably about 10 gallons worth, and he still has not gone through them, just saves all his pennies, spends the rest. |

I am new to coin roll hunting for cents. In three boxes, two Brinks and one Wells Fargo I have found the following.
Just shy of 20 percent copper
75 wheat 1912,1918,1916D,1919,1926x2,1927,1928D,1929D,1935,1936x4,1937,
1938,1939x4,1940x6,1941x6,1941D,1942x7,1944x4,1944S,1945,

And lo and behold a 1906 Indian head :-)

 I see your avatar is a tribute to your lucky find! Congratulations. 12 boxes in for me with no IHC yet. Sooooon, I can feel it.  Had to edit to say 75 wheats in 3 boxes is impressive too. Most of those come in one box? Edited by rdlem

Of the 75 wheats about half came from one box...more specifically 3 rolls. The Indian Head also came from the high density wheat box. It also seemed rather coincidental that the wheat rolls also had a lot of old Canadian cents as well

I just went through 15 rolls, finishing off a box I just got, only one wheat and canadian, but here are the numbers of coppers. 16, 15, 8, 18, 17, 22, 21, 13, 29, 19, 11, 19, 17, 18, 15.
