Don't post here much but thought this was post worthy. Just went through five brinks rolls and found the following: 1996-D lathe lines,1960-D SD RPM, 1972-D 1DO-001 and a 2006 1DO-007. I don't usually find that many in a five roll search Just wanted to share.

Toca Bell Special yesterday. My Daugther-in-Law works there and brings home a penny every now and then. Yesterday she said she peeked into someone's draw and saw these.

3 1943P, 2 1948S, 1947D and a 44. Someones stash got mixed in. Unlikely these 3 steelies was random chance.

I like go places and spend steelies, I have so many of them and watching peoples reaction is worth giving some up. Plus, who knows I might have made a collector out of someone, It alwas starts with that first coin.

They were from a bank box. I bought two boxes and they are both pretty good so far. I will try to get some pics but no promises.

Credit Unions are where it is at. call the banks and ask them if they have a coin counter. If they do, then ask them if you can aquire penny bags. Most likely they will be sending these to the federal reserve because they have many people who dump massive hoards of pennies on them. Out of 10 pennies, 2 or 3 of them are copper I've found Indians, many wheats, even dimes, euroe cents, nickels etc...

John1,
Thanks for posting pictures! On the 2006 DDO Die#7, was that a tough one to catch? Some of these "fat" doubled dies are tough for me to recognize, even with a loupe. I wonder if I am missing some of these. Did you notice it right away?

First day roll searching Lincolns, grab my last roll of the morning, crack it open and they start spilling out. Of 50 coins, 26 were pre 1960!

Ended up with
1940x1
1941x1
1944x1
1944Sx3
1946x1
1946Sx1
1948Sx1
1950Sx3
1956Dx3
1957Dx5
1958Dx6

What a roll!
