I'm thinking that I don't like the holes in my Lincoln Cent dansco, so I found a few auctions on ebay for 6 blank planchets for $8.50. Is this a good deal? Also, how do the rest of you deal with holes that you're not going to be able to fill for a while? Do you prefer the holes, or would planchets be a better idea, or even something else? Thoughts? You may want to start a new thread if you want a larger audience. My holes will stay empty until the proper coin is bought for it. No blank planchets or inverted duplicates for me. Constantly seeing the hole is a reminder and incentive to fill it with the proper coin. Now, while that's a very diplomatic answer, it really is the correct one. I happen to keep them. It's only 1Â¢, so there's really no downside. I am, admittedly a hoarder, though, as most CRH's are.
