I picked up 26 rolls yesterday and had 10 Wheaties, 1 CommonWealth of the Bahamas cent (Marlin on one side, starfish on the other). I'm not sure if the starfish side qualifies as the obverse? Doesn't the obverse usually have a portrait? Perhaps starfish used to rule the realm! I also had a 1 Eurocent and a 1976 D dime.

You shouldn't be comparing it to other 1992's, compare it to a newer cent with the WAM reverse. The font on the CLAM design is very, very different from the WAM. I can spot the different in less than a second. I've had quite a few "fools gold" 1992 CLAM's. It was simply die errosion that can make the AM appear to be close.

Hey Bad Thad - I picked up a load of cents I know you would have loved. About $100 in customer rolls from the early 1980s. They came from an old lady who was being moved into a retirement home. All solid copper from 82 and back and many BU. I was hoping for a bunch of wheats but just finished the batch and only a handful of wheats but tons of BU memorials from the 60s and early 70s. I kept about $20 worth that were really shiny and bagged up the rest and stuck them in my barn for the heck of it. Not sure I'll get to them soon but I got a good batch of copper if the price goes up. Any suggestions on what to do with them?

I picked up $20 in pennies yesterday. A bunch were customer rolled 1983-1986 P mint and many look like they were BU. I had 7 wheaties and 2 log cabins. The log cabins are still few and far between in NJ. Still no LP2s either.

Lucky you! Congrats! If you have a lot of BU's, you should separate those up and make solid date/mint rolls. They are worth a lot more like that. All the brown copper I would stash away and wait until the melt value goes to 2x, then unload them and make double your money.

a 1968 Lincoln Cent and on the reverse a dime glued into it. Someone Cut the back out and glued a dime in there. Worthless but one of the coolest finds yet
