I had a box was just going to run for copper, no time, cracked the first roll and pulled a two teens, ended up with with about 30 wheat cents and several BU 60's

Once again lady luck has shined on me twice in a day. I just pulled my second 1975-s proof of the day.  and the 1972-d counterstamp kennedy.  and the first 2013 I pulled this year and is already showing wear and tear.  |

It's sad how so many of the new (2010 and newer) cents look worse than some I find from the 1870s in my change.

Found my first washer today while going through 2 boxes. I was a little upset but I since it came out a cent roll I was only out 1 cent and I'm sure if I went to a hardware store the washer would cost me at least 5 cents. A few rolls later I found a dime so I am up 8 cents. I found a an above average number a wheats, very few Canadian, a few red coppers, a stickered cent, and 2 proofs. The 1961 proof doesn't photograph well and looks much nicer in person.     Edited by jack jeckel

thats awesome I found a washer also in a box of what I thought was lincolns and turned out to be a full box of canadian cents oldest one found was a 1941

the other day I got $5 of string and son and they are the first ones I've gotten since I left alaska. so what I noticed that in every roll there was tons of 92 96 and 98 linciolns but the weird thing was they where all back to back. Meaning that every 92 I found there was a 92 behind it and the same for the rest of those years. Is that common with string and son rolls?

Did a box today got 14 Wheaties 3 fillers oldest being a 1920. Quite a few S-mints and 36% copper pretty good box
