Dilemma! I just brought home this box, opened it up, and was very, very disappointed to see that it consists of almost all new 2016s:

Cool-Lincoln-Roll-Finds-From-Bank-Rolls----Post-Yours!

Then I looked at the end roll coin from the first roll and saw it was 1941! Then I looked at all the roll enders and another shows the wheat side and another is an older Canadian!

Cool-Lincoln-Roll-Finds-From-Bank-Rolls----Post-Yours!

So, do open all of them up? Here's the problem: I don't have a sorter at my banks so I re-roll all of my coins. Will there be a pay-off, or have I found the best coins in this bunch already at the end of the 3 rolls? Ugh. It is a dilemma! Happily, I have a box of nickels to work on now while I decide. Advice?

Why even get a box if you not going to look through the rolls inside? I say open them up!

@aristarchus123

I wouldn't be surprised if all of non 2016 coin in the box were winners.

As expected, my imagination got the best of me so I opened up all of the shiny rolls.

Four wheaties from the 40s and 50s, a nice '39 canadian, three '59-Ds. Addionally, there were 3 more more recent Canadians, 1 2009, and the really amazing 1960-D.

I like the '39 Canadian the best! Of the non-20016 circulated coins, a good number were from the 1960s.

I see two Canadian cents lurking among the 48 Lincolns:

Both were blunt 1985's.

I just opened up a bank box of Lincolns, and two of the machined-wrapped rolls have $.59 each. See the two clads lurking amidst the copper:

Before today I had just found dimes in paper customer-wrapped rolls. I'm making money today!

My first bank roll steel cent from a machine-wrapped roll:

Cool-Lincoln-Roll-Finds-From-Bank-Rolls----Post-Yours!

(Same box as the one with two rolls with dimes pictured upthread).
