I logged in just so I could comment on the 1925 King George V a couple pages back. That is the key date for the Canadian Small Cent series and is in great condition. It has a lower mintage than the 1914D Wheat cent. Awesome find. |

@coin197 There are die breaks to look for on the reverse of the 2016 cents if that is any consolation.

Went through 3,000 cents today from 3 different banks... found 16 wheats including a 1920, 2 1935s and a hole-filler 1937-D... Also found a 1940 wheat in a coinstar.  CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

not bad for $15 and not bad for first time in 3 years..
side note, these were wrapped in solid white rolls with red on the ends.. no name.. any one know who the carrier might be? I got these from CHASE

I think they are from Brinks, but I am not 100% sure. I just call them "Generic MWR." LOOMIS rolls look exactly the same except they have the word LOOMIS written on them. Purchased a box of pennies last week, and finally opened them yesterday. 12 wheats and 14 Canadians (including a 1947 King George). Highlights of the wheats were a 1917D and a 1930D. The 1917D is cleaned and has a gash, but it is a hole filler and the price was right :) 1917D:   1930D:   |
