I searched a box of pennies yesterday. I found 6 wheats (including a 1934 Wheat cent), a few 2009's worth keeping, and some Canadian pennies. Also surprisingly 2 of the rolls each had a dime in it; so I made an instant profit because of the two dimes. It was a fun box to search.

17 Wheats in 70 rolls is the tally this month. The 1918-S being the only notable find. Better than last month but still not quite where I want to be at.

A friend of mine got me a box of pennies from TCF bank. I gave her $25 in cash for the box (one of her friends has an account at TCF bank, I don't). It was an amazing box. I found about 30 wheat pennies, including a 1919-S. The cool thing was she surprised me with the box on a Friday (yesterday). She thought the box of pennies would be a good way to end the week. It was amazing.

Went to the bank to deposit a reimbursement check for $9.95 from my employer (they couldn't direct deposit from petty cash!) and I spotted a pile of CWR on the teller's counter, she was only too happy to get rid of them, $18.50 worth. The finds, one 1974-S, nine Canadians, the oldest 1970, four wheat backs, a 1918 smoothie, 1940, 1953-D, and a 1954-S. There were none from 2009. Three hundred fifty four copper cents the rest were zincolns that will go into a CoinStar machine. I was happy to give the 1918 wheat back a home
