Poll Question
So I'm new to coin collecting but have grown a big interest in coin errors and varieties. I came across a 72 S Penny that has some mark on the chin of Lincoln. I thought it couldve been a mint mark but after closer examination I honestly cant tell you what it is. So here I am. This is my first post with hopefully many more to come. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum but you should have added a third choice for damage. Given the pictures it's hard to say what it is

We really need to see a sharp close-up photo to see your coin better, but from a distance it looks like post mint damage ( PMD).
