Hi ,signed up the other day .Incredible amount of knowledge here ,best site ever . I bought several coin books but nothing like getting advise/info from a real person .
Fairly new to coin collecting. My small collection is varied ,still deciding on a favorite .At this point sticking to the Canadian stuff
Live in central B.C. ,Canada ,retired .Always happy to talk to other collectors .

Stay safe .
Thanks

Hello everyone, I'm about 10 days into my coin collecting. I've know for awhile there's value in coins but didn't know how across the board it was.

I started really diving into it after several major medical emergencies that started in this past Oct. Not the covid. I wanted something that I could do on my own, that was visually and mentally stimulating without a lot of physical effort.

I think the algorithm brought me here. I kept searching for an honest group that truly appreciates collecting and willing to help others learn as well. I am very happy to be here.

I would like to know if anyone does or knows of a zoom type of class to teach or just interact with others?

Thank you

Back in the day going to a coin shop or a show
was a great way to learn.
Nowadays the Internet is the only way to go.
By far the CCF is IT as the best group in which to learn!
Sure, buy the Red Book and read it cover to cover. Not once
but several times. Subscribe the Numismatic News to keep up with current developments. Above all, come here often, read and ask questions.
REAL PEOPLE who LOVE TO HELP!!!
