Hey guys. I think I may have found a double ear 88. I've actually had it for a couple months. But you know how when you're coin roll hunting, you set cool stuff you find in the cool stuff tray, then get hung up on a couple of the other cool things a little too much and completely forget about like 50 of the other cool things?

Yep. It happens. But going back through some of them last night I re-found this one. I didn't realize they were so special till last night.. Shout out to Blue Ridge! He's the Man.

Anyway, let's hear what you guys think.

Thanks guys!

I'm not quite experienced enough with this variety to help you out, but I hope someone else who comes along can. Best of luck!

The image of the ear isn't really clear enough to tell if it is or just a stain.

We would all love to see one, so hopefully, you can get a clearer image. Also, post an image of the die scratches below LIBERTY as noted on the link below. (Not the scratches from whatever cleaning this coin has been through.)
Here's a link for those interested.

I wonder about those marks. I thought they looked more like carpet scratches. I see that when I find them on my garage floor and they've been in foot traffic. Office type carpet...

But thanks for the reply, I'll get some more pics here in a few
