I know my images don't do it justice but the color is wrong on this coin. The weight is not far off. 3.13 g. Any thoughts. Just an anomaly?

A lot of off color coins are the result of cleaning them with chemicals. I've found many wheats like that. Weigh and the look of the coin suggest to me it is normal coin.

Probably just spent some time in the environment, possibly in some acidic soil.

EDIT: Sheldius is also likely correct.

Normal coin, just discolored from unknown environmental conditions.

Like others have stated: And acidic environment or a harsh cleaning will turn copper a pinkish color.
