If all you want is value, there is a whole section here on CCF that can address that very issue... it is the forum section called Modern grading. There, you can ask for grading opinions for your coins, and once you have that info, you can check ebay's SOLD listings for similar $ values.

What makes you think they are worth more than face value? Are you seeing something we are not? As to value,they are worth about $1 each

The 27-S is pretty much a hole filler worth about 15¢ in my opinion . Your 24-S is in a lot better condition but has the look of being cleaned ,worth about $1 .

Given the (apparent) pock-marking on the '24-S, I'm thinking neither is worth very much.
