This is a 1995 penny I stumbled on what has become a headache, I need to know is it? Or is it not? An error?
On the back look at the word America at first it looked like a scratch when I looked closely, it is not at least not after minted. The mark goes from the before the A to past the last A.
I checked and double checked what happened it was before it was stroked. It is smooth there are no edges.depending on the lighting it disappears.
Then look at the end of the T there it goes again same thing.
I have checked other 1995 pennies and they have nothing like this.
Any thoughts? #129327;#129327;#129327;

IMO it's a combination of poor planchet quality and poor Mint QC standards.
Not an error.

Looks like linear plating bubbles, not uncommon.

They do all look like Linear plating bubbles as stated. Looks like the strike disrupted them in the devices but left them intact on the fields.

That was a challenging read for sure. I agree it appears to be linear plating bubbles as the frog mentioned. No premium I'm afraid.
