I am pretty new here but to me it looks like a spending quarter.

Maybe some of the others will have a different opinion.

to CCF. It is worth 25¢. Seems to be environmental damage like from a metal detector find or maybe a fountain coin.

I did do some research on the coin and found 1986 quarters that looked just like this and it said they were...ahhhhhh I cant think of the term now, but I promise it was not weather damaged or metal detector find.
