For the longest time, I've had a few coins I've totally loved and wanted to make one of my collection centerpieces mainly becaise I loved the design, and they're not exactly easy to find in collector grade. One of mine is the Flying Eagle cent, which I wildly overpaid for at auction in uncirculated condition, But I didn't care since I didn't break the bank, and sometimes you gotta have whatyou wanna have if it's in great condition and it's basicakly scarce to begin with. An investment advisor wouldcertainly stinkeye me, but I realized long ago I'm going to die broke anyway, so sometines you splurge on things you love :)

Sure is a beauty! Gotta buy the things you like. The way I see it, if you're not collecting the things you like and that make you happy, why collect at all?

WOW!!
A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine! My collecting "Pride & Joy" is my PCGS Registry Dansco 7070 Set: https://www.PCGS.com/setregistry/ty...edset/213996

The reverse is just as gorgeous as the obverse! Both have a super sharp strike! Great pickup!

Sometimes, investment advisors are little bit more enlightened.
I have been advised that it is OK to invest up to about 5% of your life savings in coins bullion or artworks. Just make sure that you do your price research to buy wisely.
In these sorts of cases, the client is likely to have more specialist experience than the advisor.
