1983 P Jefferson Nickel: Possibly Struck Through A Late Stage Die Cap

I need help confirming if this nickel was struck through a late stage die cap. Or possibly a clashed cap strike. I'm very confused on the images coming up on both sides of the coin. At first I thought it was a huge die break.

I would appreciate someone who is well in tuned with this area. Thank you.
