I believe I'm seeing split serifs here, so I think this is legitimately doubled, but don't see this variety listed at Wexler. Is it anywhere? I hope I'm not chasing my tail on this one and I'd appreciate feedback on what kind of doubling this is. Cheers and good coin hunting.

Glare and Machine Doubling.

The shield cents almost always have this.

I'm seeing more than glare, especially on the STA and the TE.

Better images from more angles might be helpful to determine if it's MD.

Thank you all. I really appreciate the replies. I'm thinking this is more than glare doubling because I have other shields, just as shiny, that look crisp in my scope. Is it glare and machine? I guess it may be, but these pictures are the best I've been able to do with my coin scope, which is an Annlov. I will play with angles and lighting over the next few days and post again if I can get better photos.

Thank you very much the help.
