I'm certain its a veiled victoria and reverse is st george but the date is tricky, looks either 1884 or 1894. Unable to test what material it is but its 20g in weight. Sap Moderator Australia 16851 Posts	Posted 01/12/2021 6:04 pm My assumption would be "cast counterfeit", rather than "fire damage". Fire turns silver black. I also can't see fire making a silver coin lose an entire 1/3 of its weight. It's entirely possible that it's a cast counterfeit, that someone tossed into a fire once they realised it was fake.
