2006 Penny With Possible Error On Reverse

EA_C New Member United States 27 Posts	Posted 01/14/2021 10:01 am I found this penny recently, and on the reverse side, it looks like the Lincoln memorial was very lightly stamped sideways over the original one. For example: cup holder coins, a new roll that was environmentally damaged, wishing well etc. Causing the reverse image to corrode from one coin to the other. Just my Two Cents. merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 01/14/2021 8:05 pm Environmental staining/tarnishing/damage caused by perhaps water contact with another coin is my best guess as well. I cannot think of a way to improve the coin, it appears to be ruined and is a lost cause. No premium, not even a novelty in my opinion. Spend it. to the CCF! Report this Post to the Staff
