The appropriate term is "Doubled Die" and I guess it is an important distinction, as evwryone in existence climbed aboard me the first time I called them double dies lol

For what my opinion is worth, it looks like Machine Doubling to me, but I don't know that I've ever seen Machine Doubling on just a single aspect like this. Somebody with more experience will probably be much more help to you though.

Nice find! It is a doubled die, but it could be unlisted. I'm not seeing a great match on VarietyVista, but I didn't check Wexler yet. Keep in mind that there are over 100 known dies for this design, so there are almost certainly many more that just haven't been submitted yet. I personally don't bother IDing minor single squeeze DDRs and DDOs like this. I just toss them in a tube labeled "minor single squeeze DDRs."

@Yorkish not MD. And the reason people emphasize the distinction between "double" and "doubled" die is that it implies a misunderstanding of how the coins are created. It's "doubled" because the die itself that stamps the coins is doubled during the hubbing process, as opposed to "double die" which implies that the speaker thinks there were somehow two dies or that the coin was stamped twice.
