Good luck with that. I hate shield cents. Try taking some pictures with a diffuser on your light source. Maybe some paper or a couple coffee filters. The glare is making it looked doubled more than it is. Maybe a full pic and close up of IGWT also
So do I, the shield cents are by far one of the most trickiest doubled dies to identify. That's a brilliant idea, thank you for the advice, I'll make sure to do that tomorrow as it's getting rather later where I am right now.
I disabled the auto whiting and used a different surface. Yet there still seems to be just as much, if not more glare. I like the auto whiting because it allows MD it be much for easily identified.
The glare is from the light, not the camera. It needs to be diffused. Ill see if I can find a match Your best bet is checking markers on Wexlers site http://doubleddie.com/1808804.html
Oh! My gosh I'm sorry I misunderstood. Well, I can't exactly but a coffee filter or any other cloth over the light source, as that blocks the camera, as they're built into the microscope together.
I can turn down the brightness of the light if that would help?
Let me know if this is any better:
EDIT: And fair enough, I'll try that on my own time. Sadly the WDDO-006 doesn't have any die markers but I'll check the others.
